Newark library publishes students

Four primary and intermediate school students are now published authors!  Grant Blackett (K), Joshua Koenemann (3rd grade), Samantha Koenemann (5th grade) and Makena Simmons (4th grade) had their work published in the library’s PAGES literary and arts magzine for kids.  The magazine is made possible by a grant from the Ezra Jack Keats Foundation, which honors the legacy of the beloved author and illustrator of children’s books.
