Math students impressive in regional competitions

NCHS qualified three 7th grade and three 9th grade Math League teams for the State Invitational Meet in Dover after the six teams placed an amazing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for each grade in regional competition.The Delaware Secondary School Mathematics League hosts regional and state-wide competitions at four levels: grades 7, 8, 9 and 10-12.  Newark Charter School successfully competed in all levels this academic year.The 8th grade team also excelled at the regional level, placing 1st and 2nd and qualified to compete in the State Invitational, as did one of the 10th-12th grade teams, which placed 2nd in the region.
