National Merit Semifinalists Announced

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) has announced the names of Semifinalists in the 63rd annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Newark Charter is the proud home of the following semifinalists:

Michael Chen, Olivia Duke and Tanvi Venkatesh

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth about $32 million that will be offered this spring.
