Students Present Talk at Dupont Summit

Seniors Dounya Ramadan  and Vyshnavi  Kosigishroff presented a session at the 10th annual Dupont Summit on Science, Technology and Environmental Policy held at the historic Whittemore House in Washington, DC on December 1.  Invited to attend due to their successful Delaware March for Science event held last spring, Dounya and Vyshnavi’s talk was entitled Green Activism in the First State: The Efficacy of Environmental Activism.  The environmental summit included talks by college professors, researchers, politicians, and environmentalists. Advisor Tami Lunsford accompanied the students at the summit and shared, “The students handled themselves with maturity and professionalism and definitely gained a lot from the experience,” she said.
