This fall, over 125 Primary School parents and students attended the NCS Family Literacy Night.  This night is designed for students who receive small group support with Mrs. Bartocci and/or Mrs. Cowgill.  Families were encouraged to visit various tables with make-and-take activities.  Students could play reading and language games led by high school National Honor Society volunteers.  If they liked the game, copies were available for them to take home.  Primary School teachers Mrs. Lennon, Ms. Ziemba and Mrs. Dressel helped students select “just right” books to take home from the book donation table.  As a thank you for attending, families were given ten dollar gift certificates to use at the annual book fair.
